J&K POLICE INTER-BATTALION SPORTS MEET-2005
"The Meet would bring to the forefront several talents to show
their skills and find due recognition
This will help giving fillip to
sporting activity of Police and enthuse the youth of the state for
greater participation in sports
The resurgence in sports, that had
dwindled a bit in the wake of militancy, is quite visible across the state, and
the people's thronging the sporting venues in very large numbers is
an indication for the beginning of a new dawn": DGP J&K.
