Mega construction program launched throughout the state to house the police offices, police stations, police posts and to provide better residential accommodations to the jawans/officers.

31 President’s Police Medal for Gallantry, 27 President’s Police Medal for Meritorious & Distinguished Service & 30 Sher-i-Kashmir Police Medals for Gallantry awarded to J&K Police in 2009.

Rs. 5.38 Crore spent on latest weaponry, mobility and security gadgets to strengthen the security grid.
