TENDER   NOTICE   NO. 37  OF   2008 

For and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State, the Director General of Police J&K Srinagar invites sealed tenders for the below mentioned work which should reach the Office of the Executive Engineer Police Construction Division J&K Srinagar by or before 06-08-2008 upto 2 P.M. by hand. The tenders should be affixed with revenue stamps worth Rs. 2/- The tenders will be opened on 06-08-2008 or any other date convenient to the tender opening authority in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who wish to be present. Besides, the designs shall have to be produced by the contractors and cost  thereof should be incorporated in tendered rates.

            The tenders should be accompanied by a call deposit (C.D.R.) @ Rs. 2% of the advertised cost of the work from a recognized Bank or National Bank pledged to Executive Engineer PCD PHQ  J&K Srinagar.

            The work is to be completed in the time bound programme shown above; failing which penalty as indicated in the general terms and conditions shall be imposed upon the contractor.

The tender should be cast on the tender form issued by this Office against cash payment (Non-refundable) on production of valid registration card properly renewed for the year 2007-2008. The tenderer will quote only single rate i.e., above or below percentage except on items where the tenderer has been asked to quote and safeguard his rate by applying transparent tape otherwise his tender will be rejected. Payment will be made only when funds are made available with the PCD for the said works. The last date for issuance of tender forms is 04-08-2008 upto 2 P.M.

            All other terms and conditions will remain same as per specifications, terms and conditions attached with tender form issued by this office and as per PWD form 25 double leaf
