NOTICE NO. 51 OF 2008
For
and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State, the Director
General of Police J&K Srinagar invites sealed tenders for the below
mentioned works affixed with Revenue Stamps worth Rs. 5/- on the
prescribed Tender Form of PCD PHQ J&K through registered Post / Speed
Post from the eligible approved / registered Contractors / Firms of
J&K State only of the classes mentioned here under in strict
accordance with conditions noted below.

The tenders shall have to be
addressed to the worthy Director General of Police J&K
accompanied by a call deposit @ Rs. 2% of the advertised cost of
the work in the shape of C.D.R. from the recognized Bank or
National Bank pledged to Executive Engineer PCD PHQ J&K Srinagar.
The Tender
Documents can be had through an application from the Divisional
Office during the office hours from 11-10-2008 to 15-10-2008 upto
2 P.M. against cash payment (Non-Refundable).
The Tenders
shall be received by the Executive Engineer PCD PHQ J&K Srinagar
on 16-10-2008 at 2 P.M. and shall be opened by the Tender Opening
Committee PHQ J&K Srinagar on 16-10-2008 or any other convenient
date to the Committee in presence of the Contractors / Agencies or
their authorized representatives who may like to be present.
TERMS &
CONDITIONS:-
01: The intending Bidders can purchase Tender Documents on the
submission of
application supported with Photo Copy of C.D.R. amounting
@ 2% of the
approximate advertised cost of the work duly attested by
the Gazetted Officer to
avoid Non – Serious Bidders.
The Registration Card duly
renewed for the current financial yeat should be shown
in original or Photo Copy of the same duly attested by the
Gazetted Officer while
purchasing the Tender Documets and also Copy of lattest
Sales Tax Clearance
Certificate, Income Tax Certificate, PAN & TIN numbers be
shown for purchase of
Tender Documents.
03: The time of completion
in view of the limited working season, is quite essential, and
as such the work should be completed within the stipulated
time period, failing
which, the said work or balance part thereof shall be put
to fresh tenders or can be
got completed through any other Contractor / Agency at the
risk and cost of the
original Contractor.
04: If the intending Bidder
likes to quote Rebate, the same should be incorporated in his
percentage of quoted Rates. Lump Sum Rebate shall not be
accepted, as such,
the Tender of such condition shall be rejected.
05: The rates should be
quoted in figures as well as in words neatly & correctly duly
safeguarded with transparent adhesive tap. In case,
Over-writing / Corrections are
found in quoted rates, the Tender shall be rejected
without assigning
any reason thereof to avoid all sorts of ambiguity.
06: The Date of Start of
work shall be reckoned after three days from the date of
dispatch of allotment from Divisional Office.
07: All other terms and
conditions shall remain the same issued from time to time
from this Division
