NOTICE INVITING
TENDER
For and on behalf of Governor J&K State, sealed tenders are invited from
original manufacturers, approved authorized dealers and registered Firms
affixed revenue stamp worth Rs 5 (five) for the supply of Photography
equipments for use in Photo sections of Police Crime wing J&K as specified in
Annexure “A “ and as per the terms and conditions specified in annexure “B”
of this NIT.

The tender should be properly sealed and
addressed to IGP Crime J&K, near exhibition Ground Srinagar. The
tender envelops should be super scribed Tender for NIT No 05 2008.
-
The tenders should reach in the above
quoted office on or before 06.10.2008 up to 5 PM, the tender received
after the expiry of prescribed date and time will not be entertained.
-
The tenders will be opened on 07.10.2008 at
11.30 hours in presence of intending tenderers who may choose to be
present. In case of unforeseen circumstances the date of opening will be
next working day.

The tender documents must be accompanied with
earnest money of Rs. 30.000 (thirty Thousand) in shape of CDR/FDR from any
Nationalized Bank pledged to Inspector General of Police Crime wing J&K,
without which the tender will not be entertained.

The Tender fees has been fixed as Rs 500/=
(Five hundred) which should accompany the tender offer in shape of a crossed
demand draft favoring Asst. Accounts Officer Crime Headquarters J&K payable
at Srinagar. The tender fee is not refundable and the same will be deposited
in the Government treasury under head 0055- Police tender fee for the Year
2008-09. The tender offer will not be considered without tender fees.

“B”
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-
The rates quoted against this NIT shall be valid
till 31.12.2008 the rates quoted should be inclusive (calculation to be shown
separately) of all liable duties, , State entry tax, vat, toll tax, freight,
insurance, octroi etc to the point of delivery and F.O.R destination i.e CPH
Store Crime Wing Srinagar /Jammu. The successful tenderer shall have to make
the supplies within stipulated period /place, as would be mentioned in supply
order. The rates quoted should be free from over writings, cuttings and
alterations.

Minimum onsite warranty of the product should be
given along with make, model of the item quoted for, Catalogues, broachers of
the equipments should be annexed with the Tender .The firm shall provide
expected life of the product also.

The successful Tenderer shall have to enter
into an agreement on prescribed Performa with the Department for due
performance of the contract and execute the Supply within twenty days from the
date of issuance/receipt of supply order.
-
. Any clause incorporated in the tender
(Contradicting the NIT) in any way shall make such offer liable for
rejection.
-
Payment will be made by WDC bill or Bank Draft
if so desired after the supply is received in full, duly surveyed and accepted
by the survey committee nominated for the propose.
-
The tenderer shall be responsible for the proper
packing so as to avoid any damage under normal conditions of transport by
rail, road or air and delivery of the material at destination in the event of
any loss, damage, breakage of leakage or any shortage, the tenderer shall be
liable to make good such loss and shortage found at the checking/inspection of
material. No extra cost on such account shall be admissible.

In case the successful tenderer fails/delay to
supply the material, the earnest money of the concerned firm/dealer will be
forfeited.
-
All legal proceedings arising out of any dispute
between the parties shall have to be instituted in the Court situated in Jammu
and Srinagar and not elsewhere.
-
The documents for being an authorized
dealer/manufacturer or Regd. Supplier may be enclosed with the quotations.
-
Literature and the original catalogue should be
furnished with the equipments/material (Wherever applicable).
-
Income tax admissible under rules shall also be
deducted from the payment.
