Budgam police recovers stolen ambulance
Srinagar January, 11: An ambulance which was stolen by some unknown persons from Srinagar, was today recovered by Budgam police from Wadwan area.
On 10th of January 2017, driver of an ambulance vehicle Mohammad Ibrahim Bhat resident of Vizer Baramulla reported in Police Station Karan Nagar that an ambulance bearing registration number JK01P/4492 of J&K Yateem Foundation Jawahar Nagar was stolen by some unknown persons during the intervening night of 09-10 January 2017 which was parked near Al-Hilal Diagnostic Centre Karanagar.
A case was registered in Police Station Karan Nagar and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of action, the said ambulance was recovered by Police Post Soibugh from Wadwan area, today. The vehicle was later handed over to Police Station Karan Nagar. Further investigation of the matter is going on.

03 persons injured in road accidents
Srinagar January, 11:Three persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley.
In Budgam, an Alto car bearing registration number K01V-9732 driven by Feroz Ahmad Wani resident of Cooperative colony Pirbagh and a Santro car bearing registration number PB10W-0459 collided at Rehmatabad near Hyderpora crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Post Humhama, resulting in injuries to the Alto driver. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joint hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Srinagar, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian lady namely Shaheena wife of Shabir Ahmad Sofi at Parraypora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sadder. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a vehicle bearing registration number JK03B-3657 driven by Yawar Rashid Bhat resident of Katoo met with an accident at Nelandroos near Degree College Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment, where from he was referred to District Hospital Anantnag for further treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
