Pursuant to
President’s Secretariat Notification No. 19-Pres/2004 dated
25.02.2004, received under MHA’s letter No. 11026/19/2003-PMA dated
27.04.2004, whereunder Directors General of the Central Police
Orgs./State Police, have been delegated with the powers to award the
Parakaram Padak to the eligible personnel,
sanction is hereby accorded to the award of “Parakram Padak”
to the below mentioned officers and men of J&K Police, who have
sustained wounds, during encounter with terrorist at Kali Mandi,
Samba on 11-05-2008.
